As the sun rises...

The taller man nodded slowly. That seemed like a fine deal to him, though he would make sure to put on a very safe lock to his room. He did not like the idea of someone coming and going in his house and that he could not entirely trust this perosn. He did not mistrust that guy, he did not think he was up to no good or that he would ever want to hurt him again, but better safe than sorry.

"...Heh..."

He nodded slwoly and he looked through the things lying on the small table. He finalyl found a golden key sitting there and he handed it over. It was the new key for the door, since he had had to change the lock.

"...There.. that should help. Just don't do weird things.. this neighborhood isnt the best to start with so don'T teach them new trics.. I don't want to find kids in my house when I get back."

"I promise I will use the door." He blushed sharply at that, he had a love of just coming in the most unobtrusive way.... but well he had really just wanted to know what to do about it. "No windows." He knew it was more his style to come in through a way other then the traditional one. But well he was just odd in that fashion.

Tipping his head up he smiled."

He sighed softly and he nodded. He looked through his pockets and he finally took out a card, which was just hsome money for him. "...there for the groceries.. I have no idea of the ongoing prices so I'll trust you with it... It's not like you could go very far with what's on there and I figure that you probably earn a lot more than I do with the job you have but... let's face it, I'm not really schooled."

He shrugged and went back to the shirt he was working on. He just had to put the fur on it now and it was not really long. Within a few mintues he was admiring his own work and he smiled happily. He seemed to be rather satisfied.

"...might not make lots of money, but I like what I do."

"I dont mind." Taking the card he nodded, but most likely he woudlnt' use it, he earned rather a lot from his profession and so money was no worry for him when it came to new things or just getting more food then he usually did and just make extra of what he was having or something different. "Thanks. I'm glad you do something you really enjoy. I do too, being a doctor I mean."

Seriously he enjoyed doing so, he really only did his assassin's work to prove himself to his father... because somethings in his family had to be upkept and he wanted to make his father proud of him in the tradition of his family.

"Oh!" He stuffed his hand into his pocket and pulled out a ticket, looking a little cute. "Their opening a new exibit at the Kyoto Zoo... in two weeks. I end up getting invited to the most bizzare things... I just wanted to know... if your not busy if you would spend the day with me..."

The taller man was a little surprised with that. He seemingly had a thing for cute things, that movie was on repeat after all!! That was still something weird for a proud, grown man,b ut he liked cute things. And he liked animals. But he still was wondering about that invitation.

"...Well, if you were invited there... I mean.. it must mean someone whats to go with you, no?"

He was no one to go in receptions much and that was not something that he was used to. But he surely would not say no to a journey to the zoo, even though someone might not like it, he would not care. He could close the shop for one day, since he was the only owner and employee...

"...but otherwise, I'd be glad to go..." He smiled lightly.

"YAY!" Ciel looked absolutely excited, "I help out a little when their landscaping when they need a botanist. So they invited me and a friend. And well I can't say I know anyone into zoos."

"I'm so glad!" He was thrilled because it would be just like a usual outing between friends, or well he could probably spoil the other man rotten like he liked doing. "But I'm happy." He was because he had only asked a one or two people but they weren't really into it. Ciel most likely have asked his little brother... but he was out of town.

"Here." He handed over the ticket with the date and time and thing.

Berith nodded very slowly and he smiled over to the smaller man. That seemed to be fine to him and so he put the ticket aside with the things on the table. He did not mind it being there, he would find it when the time would come. This was just wher ehe put all his important things and he did not really take much time to classify things as he went.

"..Alright.. I'll be there, then."

He stretched out and he stood to place the shirt over the edge of the couch so that he did nto forget it in the morning. "...I think you'll end up taking me out rather often." Not that he minded!

"I would like that. I really want a chance to get to know you and for you to know me." It would be a good way to start. He would take the time to court the other man properly, he had rushed some things... and now he knew that there was maybe a slight chance that they could be together he wanted to earn the trust he had completely and utterly almost destroyed. It really mattered to him and it was important too.

Turning his head upwards he took a deep breath and let it out slowly, enjoying a moment of complete peace within him.

"It feels so good to have someone back into my life."

Ciel saying things like that made it all sound way too serious and he wonderd for a moment if that was really what he was seeking. Well, it was not really the time to think about it. He had said that it would take a lot of time before he could even manage to get to his heart and that was osmething honest. If Ciel wanted to court him, that was fine, but he wa sa little like a lady, he was so close and yet almost unreachable. He just needed time and a lot of effort.

Needless to say that his breakup with Jun had actually affected himt oo and that he was a little bit hesitant of letting someon clsoe. And he never had let a guy close before, well... except for sex, but that was just another story.

"...Yeah, it does." He finally agreed. Even if they weren't on the same level or anything, it stillw as not bad to have someone to talk to.

"Maybe sometime you could meet my little brother." Ciel chuckled softly, he was always trying to protect his little brother but Asta really did attract trouble sometimes! Most of the time he was just so damned cute!

"Well one day." He usually looked after his brother whne he was in Kyoto, even though they were the same age, he loved looking after his blonde twin. "Do you have any siblings?"

He just wanted to know... out of sheer curisoity, he knew a little of the other man but he was just wanting to know as much as he was allowed. Though he would understand if he wasn't told.

That was not a question that he had really expected, but Berith really did not seem to midna bout that one. He simply frowned and he tilted his ead to the side. It was not part of the best memories he had but he would share since he had been asked so clearly.

"...I have a half-sister. She's japanese... after I was born my mother got remarried and she found herself a japanese guy to at least have a 'real' child. So yeah... I guess you could say I have a half-sister."

He sighed deeply and he shook his head slowly. "She really hates my guts though. She considers I'm the shame of the family, but she's an idiot, what can you do?"

He nodded slightly, in his family it was different they were a proud rather strong family, though it was only him and his brother... they didn't have any other siblings. "I see."

He hadn't meant to ask something from such a hurtful topic, but he couldn't change hwo things were and just sat where he was and wouldn't ask more about his famuily life.

"Its just my brother and I." Running his fingers back through his hair he looked really cute like that. "My mother died when we were little so it was only our father who raised us.

"...Hey, don'T worry over that..." He really meant that. Ciel should not worry about asking about his family, he did not mind saying what he felt about his sister, nor about his mother or his father. It was something that he was used to by now, and he was tired of hiding some things.

"...I think that you're lucky to be able to be close to your brother.. I wish that I knew the other side of my family, but I was sort of exported to Japan when I was very young so I have no idea what my father is up to."

He only knew that his father was either german or aryan. He had never really understood the difference so he was dealing with things to the best of his knowledge. "...I lived with my mother until I was sixteen then I ran away." This was the best way to put things.

"Aaah." He nodded slightly taking that in and nodding, it made sense. And he understood a little more about the situation and and what was alright and what was not of the other man. He was just happy to have someoen to talk to about basically anything except for now he would not go near his part time job.

"He's a little like you, very cute." He grinned up at him, he really did think the man was utterly adorable like that!

Turnign his head slightly, he smiled slightly. "Could you make me something? I'm pay and everything. I just really like your work."

Berith blinkedv ery slowly at that. "...mmm.... how am I cute?" That was a little bit weird to him. It was not like he had really vebeen told that before and it left him to wonder what the Hell was going on through the other man's mind. He was tall and bulky and he was not the kind of guy who did cute things and yet that seemed to be what Ciel wanted to think.

"...I could do you something... just have to tell me what.. and be ready to put the price on it..."

He tilted his head and looked over to the other man. "...My special orders do cost a lot, sadly.. but you got to see that it does take me a while to do each piece."
