"...whatever..."
The taller man rolled on his other side, his bare back to the window and he let out a heavy sigh. How was he supposed to answer to that? Why would he even want to see that man who had wanted to kill him? Well.. the only reason he could see was to know who had hired him, but then agian, he could find that other ways. He was just a little bit unsure at the moment because it seemed that more and more people wanted his death and that he would most likely have to move.
".. have fun."
Words on which he picked the sheets and blankets and hid himself to his shoulders. Ciel could have pointed out that it was one night, that had been dealt and that this had only been an hour, but.. well, he had not and the taller man was not about to complain. It had been good but he could not help feeling weird with himse.f

"I might." He had been compansated and could return the money and also do a little bit of 'drop the hirers into custody' thing. And knock off any other assassin hired to knock the man off since he knew at least another had been hired to do so...
Perching on the window sill, he looked cute with his long bangs brushing across his face, "I thankyou for the precious memories."
Before he moved easily from the ledge to the tree then to the roof... it was rather an interesting night... a big story flashing up on the news later on in the evening about a few coverups and also a few bad apples that had hired several assassins that had all been dumped dazed and confused right in front of the Police office.
Dressed in street clothes and looking like an average teenager, Ciel smiled to himself as he sat in a park, wondering what Berith thought of him. Though he was rather comfortable where he was... it was just wonderful to watch a sunset.

Berith was not naturally a very lively being, he had his own patterns and he did a lot of things on his own. He was not quite social and he did not try to have many contacts with the exterior, and yet he was trying his best to live the most normal life a person could live in that town. Well, granted, it was not quite the most normal, but it did the job just fine when he was not on any mission of any type, he could go back to his small shop and it was where he felt the best.
The morning came and he had not slept, he was not feeling too good still, though he wa snot sure if it was because of the poison or because of what they had done.... He was certainly sore the morning but it did not stop him from getting up and walking down the street over to the more commercial part of town where he held a general leather clothing shop.
He had everything from sexy leather pants to old style armor. Even though it wa sjust a cover, it was surely the place he was feeling like home the most.
Oddly enough, he did not take any chance that day and he left with the two short swords he carried around when he felt unsafe. He felt like he was being watched, and silently wondered... if what had happened the night before was a warning...

Ciel was almost growling, his eyes narrowing against his enemy, the last assassin he had to deal with... one that had sort him out because his fellows had ended up completely and utterly in lock down thanks to a bit of work form Ciel. The warm drops of blood slipped down his arm slightly from where he had been cut.
He was trying to fight of this man that was twice as big as him, which was not much fun, his fist connecting with a pressure point and pushing the man out of the alley and straight into the street. The Assassin looked like nothing more then a street kid having a brawl, his red-brown locks clinging to his cheeks as he tried his best to avoid the solid punch to his ribs.
"You ain't getting him." Ciel growled out viciously, his opponent laughing at him.
"Very funny little boy." The heavy blade almost catching him as he kept a step out of reach... "You are a pathetic wimp."
Mumbling he had to get off the street right then... or end up being spotted! He had to think of the last option he had, the dart getting past the big man's defences... and finally getting him down... This was NOT a good situation...

The fight in the middle of the street could not do otherwise than catch the other man's senses. Even though he was in a building with the door closed, and most of the windows were tainted, he was able to see through and he frowned very deeply as he saw who was in that fight. Why did things like that have to happen? He was not really sure and he held no answer to that, but it was kind of interseting to see the smaller boy fight to obviously defend him.
He would not linger on the thought, though.
Berith sighed very deeply and he finally walked out of the store. He had not meant to wait until the other man was knocked out but he had not wanted to get even more attention on himself. His dark blue eyes scanned the smaller boy and he saw the blood trickling down his wounded arm.
"...come in here." He was speaking almost too coldly, but that was part of his nature.

Turning his head slightly, he raised a fine eyebrow slightly at the other man, before poking the downed man with his boot, finding him sufficently incapacitated and not caring about the body which would be out of commission for at least several days.
Why the hell would... Berith care? Well he didn't particuliarly worry about that face before walking off after him, his fingers wrapped around his injured arm, remaining completely silent and not really sure what ot make of the situation as he followed the man.
Plenty of people gave him a strange look... but he shurgged and muttered 'brawl.' It wasn't like he looked like anything but a street kid.

The tall man walked in his leather shop, knowing that he was being followed by the kid. The few customers who were still in there were quite surprised to see the injured boy walk in, but they did not comment on anything. He was with the owner after all.
"Sit down." He ordered him almostr quietly. He frowned slightly and he looked at the wound as the other man sat down. It was nasty but it was not overly so. They could get over this one.
Berith reached behind the counter and he grabbed his first aid box and he started to disinfect the wound. He was very silent because he did not know what to say. And in fact, he had not really said anything since the previous evening.

The pain seemed not to bother the boy as he blinked up at the other man, rather confused as to why he was treating the deep cut on his arm, though he simply let him before giving him a very slight smile. "Guess they.... really thought that was only a brawl..."
He wasn't going to be saying about the dark bruise where he had been struck hard across the ribs, he could live wiht a few bruises anyway.
"Thanks." At least it wouldn't get infected which was really good. He really didn't want to have ot go through someothing like that again... though he knew plenty of good things for infections. Doing it to himself was not really something he liked to do.

"...yeah..."
Berith nodded and he quickly closed the white box and placed it aside. He sat down close to the other man but he was once more silent. He did not know what to say. Hardly a day had past since they had met and he still was confused about how t regard Ciel. He was an assassin adn yet he had just fought like that to protect him. He wondered for a moment just how much the little 'payment' he had given him the night before meant for him.
He squirmed a little on his seat, still a bit sore, but he was at least not complaining about it.
"Care ot tell me who hired you and all those guys?"

"Some gang... Zenryu... They aren't a problem now..." Picking up a newspaper he unfolded it before handing it to the other man, the headline showing that the gang's members and their hired assassins ahd been mysteriously dumped outside of the Police Station... and were now on multiple charges. "Your payment was worth a lot more then they could offer me."
He smirked slightly, he had been proud of his skills for that, it had taken him a while to find them all but it was proof that his skills were some of the best in the business.
"Just doing what I was paid for. I was paid to spare your life that included getting rid of the creeps who hired me... They have their money back too." It didn't seem to work well with him any other way.

"...Zen.. ryu?"It was kind of cute to see the confused look on the taller man's face. That was something he had not expected, and he could see why they would want him dead. This was rather annoying and yet, the way he had said the name was so childish. It was like it was the firs time he heard that one name and the way he had pronounced it made it sound like it was a foreign name to him. Well, japanese was not quite his first language, but...
"I see..." He was silent for a long moment and he looked away for a moment. His cheeks flushed at the memory of the night before. He had managed not to think about it even though he was really sore, but now that was something weird to be talking about. Well, at least the customers did not know what that payment was. "...I'm relieved to know that you actually respect your part of the bargain now..."
He was a little bit shy but he let out a slight sigh. "...You didn't have to get rid of them... Well, I suppose it's better that way... better for my life anyhow."

"They are in custody." He hadn't killed anyone, because it was not something he had been hired to do and he thought extreme force was not something he would like to use in this case. "That was the last one." He looked slightly smug, he had really done well that time around. "I always keep my word."
And he hadn't to the gang, because he had never promised them that he would finish the job.
His fingers rubbed slightly over the large bruise over his right side, but didn't say anything about it, he would live. "Nice place." He gazed around slightly, not really sure what to make of eveyrhting though he thought it looked really cool in its own way.

"...isn't it?"
A rare thing happened: That tall man who just always looked either sad, upset or annoyed smiled. He really liked his little shop and that was in a way what had kept him going with the more 'dangerous' part of his life. It was his palce to relax and be at peace with himself even though thigns were a little hectic at that moment.
"...This is my place... well, not where I live, obviously.. but yeah.. wait just a moment.."
Berith smiled to the boy before walking over to the few customers who were looking at bracers. He showed them how to put them on and finished a quick transaction and soon the store was empty again. "...It's not that busy... but it doesn't matter.. I make enough to keep on going..."

Sitting on the countertop, legs swinging he looked cute like that, like he was a friend to the other man. "I dont' know if I'll be here long in the city..." His head tipped up slightly, his red-brown hair falling across his face as he shifted slightly. A finger tapped his chin slightly, his eyes turning to look towards the other man though this was going to be weird coming from him.
"Would you consider going to dinner with me?" Though knowing he was an assassin it was clear he wouldnt' hurt the other man anymore, his mauve eyes gazing at him for a moment before a very slight blush came over his cheeks and across his ears. He looked away sharply, probably the first time he had ever asked anyone to dinner.
He liked the other man for some reason...

The taller manf rowned some at that. Well, it was certainly not part of their deal, after all! He tilted his head to the side and his dark blue eyes stared to the smaller boy. What was with him? There was no readon to get out for dinner, and there was no particular reason to do that. And yet, the idea did not seem that bad. He had not gone out since his last girlfriend had dumped him, he usually ate frozen dinner since it was the best tha the could do for the moment.
"I don't know..."
He shrugged and looked away. He picked one of the other bracers and he started to fix the studs on it, since he was the one doing all the work in there, he might as well get to it even though he had a guests. Though the real reason for it was more that he was kind of shy of talking about that.
"...haven't gone out for a bit... what do you suggest...?" It would depend on what place they were going... and if he was invited ^^ He was allowed to let himself be a little bit girly after what he had done the previous night!
