The rustle of feathers sounded softly as the red Kite returned to his gauntlet, his eyes closing for a moment as he stroked a hand down over the soft wings, smoothing them out as he took the small hare from the great bird’s talons, giving Ialith a few pieces of meat in return for the kill. He was a skilled falconer, but that served a good purpose when travelling to retrieve kills or to carry messages.
The carved tablet he had unearthed and also the few magical trinkets and things he had picked up were partly to his understanding, though he hoped to understand more about some of the new parts of history he was slowly beginning to understand and also things about his own family history.
His dark hair was tied back in a braid out of the way, sliding it down over one shoulder as he tipped his head up slightly and looked content to be there in this familiar land. Ialith's wings fluttered slightly, those golden eyes tooking around.
"Is something bothering you, Ialith?" He asked softly, hoping to know maybe what had disturbed his companion.

Auraia was the type of very quiet girl and she did not think that she would ever get bothered where she was resting in the north of the elven territory. She had been there with him for a while because of her son who was living there with her part time. She was living in a small town. There was nothignr eally particular in that part of the world, just a lot of snow and the access to both the world of nothern elves and to the mountain elves. She loved living ther ebecause she got to see Storm every now and then and her son could visit her and no one else really came to bother in the middle of the forest.
That stupid bird belonged to someone and she could tell because it was no ordinary Kite. This was annoying her to no word because she hated when someone came in her own little territory to steal her things. It broke her inspiration when someone was breaking in -her- forest! She growled lowly and grabbed her scythe and bow before running down her tree and following after the stupid creature.
She stopped straight as she walked out of the forest and saw the dark haired man standing there with the bird on his arm. Auraia had no clue who he was but he was not the type who was usually wandering around her territory.
"....who are you...?" Her voice was soft and she seemed to be a little bit unsure...

Calming down the red Kite resting on his gloved hand, he turned slightly towards the woman that had come there to confront him, his horse trailing just behind him with the long lead rope looped around his other hand.
"Nyrelian Keravin'ae, traveller." He bowed his head slightly, the rabbit the Kite had brought him tied to his horse's saddle. "I'm sorry if I was intruding on your territory, I haven't been near a village in a while and have been unable to get supplies so I allowed Ialith to hunt for me... I didn't mean any offense by that, truly." His voice was calm and collected even when faced with this, he woudn't get angry or try to plea anything but the truth, he had meant no harm and hadn't known these lands were someone's since he was simply travelling through.
Though his manners were quite almost like a Knight's, he had been taught that way by Seleste's father when he had spent time with the swedish woman for several summers.
"I will return the rabbit if you would like."

The elven girl squinted her eyes and she looked straiht at the other man. She did not care much about the rabbit but she did not like having people trespassing on her lands. She did not like to have unannounced visitors and it was only normal for them to actually say that they were going to be there. Either way she took a few steps closer, just being a little cautious of what was going on. And she tilted her head to the side, looking at the kite and she finally let out a sigh.
"No... keep the rabbit.... were you planning on staying on my lands.....?"
She really did not know if he wanted to stay but if that was the case, she would have to at least tell the other people in the forest that they were actually going to get a visitor.
"...I'm sorry.. I'm simply not used to that kind of presence.. I'm trying my best to remain on track..."

Shaking his head slightly, he brushed his hand back through his raven locks looking at the woman was a calm gaze, but curiosity was warrioring with him. "I don't intend to stay, though I am trying to find someone to help me with a translation. I'm just heading into the city..." He hadn't any luck finding someone that was good enough with translations or spell casting of that variety to figure out the things he had with him.
"I don't mean to bother anyone with my presence..." He really didnt' mean to cause her a problem or anything, he was just a very curious traveller and sometimes that curiosity got him into trouble. His hands stayed clear away from the cross bow that was slung in its carrier on his back, he wasn't wanting to be of any trouble to someone.
"Though do you know of anywhere I can get a place to stay nearby?" He had been on the road for weeks and really wanted a decent place to rest and a good meal. THough he dind't want to trouble anyone.

The girl leaned back and she nodded. Her dark, amber eyes were scanning him for a moment. She did not know what to tell him but he did not seem like a bad person and she would not mind letting her stay at her place. He did not seem like the kind of guy who would cause trouble and she had a few spare room in her small house. It was nice and cosy and it was lost in the forest. She was a priestess of the moon god Ephian and she just believed that it was one of the few places in the world which she could really feel good with herself and that she could feel her god's presence close to her.
"...There is no city for another few days if you go down south..."
She did not go out all that foten but she nonetheless smiled at him and she put her weapon away, strapping it over her back and sighing very softly.
"...You could stay at my place for the night.. it's down in the forest... else well.. you will just have to wait until you go a bit further down south."

"I'd be honoured to stay with you for a night." He would compensate her however she wished to be compensated from what he did have with him, he never wanted to seem ungrateful for teh help of others. Because when you treated someone with respect usually it was returend and it was good. "Thankyou, its been a long journey and I am keen to at least be somewhere warm and friendly for the night."
He gave her one of his smiles, something that made him look very hot, but it was also something welcoming and warm. "I'll give you whatever you wish in compensation for your hospitality." The last thing he would want to do was offend her somehow by not offering to pay. Ialith was settled onto the horn of the saddle, leaving his hands free as he guided his horse along. He would skin the rabbit somewhere later and dry the meat for the trip. But give her the pelt. She was rather something special, she was beautiful, but he wasn't that kind of man to flirt outright.

The girl did not really know what to do.Auraia was a very calm woman and so she did not want to get upset over a rabbit, and she would offer the nights stay for free and some other thigns if he wanted to. She was a very nice person and, in fact, she was glad for the company for two good reasons. To start with, her God had told her that she would run into somene rather important in the next few days and she really was starting to think that this one man was that person. Second, it was good to have someone to talk to when there was no one else in the cold forest.
"We will see about payment, but usually I charge one night in my bed for men, two for cute one."
That clearly was a joke and she chuckled softly. This was not a normal elven joke, but it was the most that she would say, and when she did that one, she did not think about mating. Even though she was not all that innocent, she was still an elf. And so she blushed very slightly.
"...come with me... I will cook you dinner and I will give you a room for the night. I take care of traveller."

Though the comment caught him by surprise he was trying to prevent a slight blush flashing across his tanned sheeks, his crimson eyes regarding her with that curiosity of his again. Following a few steps behind her, he was definitely not a threat, he would rather not fight in a situation and it was his last resort if he ahd too.
"I'm sure I could accommodate a night, though I doubt I'm cute." He was teasing her ever so slightly, just wanting to make her smile, or he hoped that he would be able to, because lady's smiles were definitely worth trying to earn. He was not at all vain, but he never counted anythign on his rather sexy appearance. It was just the way he was and he didn' tuse it at all to his gain.
He was an honest person. "Beautiful place," Ny smiled softly, "Though I never did learn your name, Milady."

The elf was walking a few steps ahead of him, her silver hair glimmering slightly in the day light. It was nothign compared to what it looked like in the moonlight but she really was someone beautiful. She tilted her head to the side, amber eyes watching the tall man for a moment and she blinked slowly. Her long eyelashes were giving a stunning effect. It was rather odd to think that such a person was living in the middle of the forest on hor own, but she was a strong woman.
She had a very soft smile, noting that at least this man actually answered to her little joke. That was rare for elves but she was not about to say anything against it in the situation. It was good to have some form of company and she sighed softly before looking back to the road. It was snowy and it was ahrd to see the path clearly.
"...My name is Auraia Fi'itae..." She laughed softly before she shrugged. "...I am quite certain that you would 'accomodate' but I am not that kind of person, worry not..."

"Nor am I, Lady Auraia." Bowing his head slightly, he had a way about him that usually charmed people but really he just was feeling a slight thrill at having recieved a cute smile from her, she really was something. Though he had a son, it had been something speciel between him and Seleste, though the boy deserved a better life with a stable home for him to be in and Nyre couldn't have provided it.
"Though you are quite exquisite." Hopefully he didn't offend her by saying that straight forwards, but he was a collector of rare and beautiful objects, but most things paled in comparison to this rare being. He was fascinated by her, and he couldn't help but smiled warmly at her, though it was small he wanted her to know that he was not trying to flirt, but express his awe of her.
"I mean no offense in being straight forwards but I have never seen anyone do such justice to the natural beauty of the Elf race."

Her laugh was crystalline and it just sounded right as it echoed between the trees. She was kind of cute to see like that, as her cheeks reddened both under the cold wind and the compliemnt that he was giving her. She was quite glad that she had found someone and she really was hoping that this mna had no bad intention. But from what she could sense, there was nothingt o fear in that man and so she jsut watned to take some time to enjoy the moment.
"Well, you are indeed being quite forward, but I suppose that I do not mind. I hope that you are just that way all the time."
She did not really mind. She stopped in front of a small wooden house. The roof was coevered in snow and it was a really nice place. It was not a really big one, but it was fine. Two huskies came to greet her and they were wagging their tails. They were really beautiful beasts. "...Hey there boys.... Yes, we are letting him in for the night... alright..." She turned her head to smile at him and she lead the way in the small house. "...Come in, Nyrelian Keravin'ae."

Taking a moment to pause by the dogs, his hand curled into a fist which was offered to the Huskies to smell and recongise him as not being a threat to their mistress. His horse was allowed to graze amongst the snow drifts and the Kite sat on a place out of the snow to roost for the night away from predators.
Slender fingered hands gently rubbed behind the dog's ears in affection, wanting to show he really meant no harm at all. "It is sometimes a bad thing to be forwards at all times but I find it to be much simplier as I have no wish to fight when there is no need to do so."
"Nyre is just fine, Milady." Shaking the snow off his clothes outside before stepping into the warmth of the house, he set down his pack and crossbow out of the way and reached in for something that he had recently acquired, she was doing all this for him and he wanted to give her something to at least remember his visit by. "An amulet to the Moon God, or at least that is what I have figured it to be." The shimmering moonstones were worked into the fine design of a pendant, the little golden crescent moon of clear amber set in the middle. "For you." He bowed deeply to her offering it out on the fine gold and silver chain.

The inside of the house was rather impressive. It was plunged in a weird darkness and silver spots were shimmering in the dark. All of the setting was rather magical and as he walked in a little bit further he could see a little shrine to the moon gold and there was a lot of silver all over the place but that was cecause it was the color of Ephian and she was one of the High Priestesses after all.
She had divination talbes and charts in the first room as you walked in and then the rest of the house was pretty much hidden but there were some dream catchers. It was a really nice house and so she smiled very lightly and she just loiokd to him for a moment, then to the amulet he was holding, wondering what it was.
"...Mmm... what's that..." She walked up to him again as she removed her coat and she lookd at the small amuylet. That would be one to add to her collection, though she was making her own sometimes. He picked it in her fingers and turned it around to see who had done this one and it made her smile very softly. "...you should keep that one... it has a rather great value.... I... hum.. I have the other piece for it already...."

His eyes turned around to glance over everything in the place, his mind becoming quite filled with a thousand questions and a fantasic wonderment about everything within that room, it really was something wonderful in his mind. He was almost like a small child for a few moments, his eyes going wide and looking around him, his cloak swishing a little around his boots.
"Please, keep it. I feel it is the least I can offer to one of such high standings, this is... wow..." His mind was racing with all the different elements of different artifacts around him, it had him almost mesmorised. "I could spent a thousand years just wanting to know all about these things. And never once get bored."
"I'm a collector of antiquities and rare items for a private collection and for own studies."
